This painting represents an ‘Ode to the Color Blue’. — Blue is considered to be the most “universally appealing” color on the spectrum because of its non-polarizing properties. As the primary hue of our atmosphere, we can often associate the color blue with a still, deep pool, or a pale, morning sky… highlighting its ‘soothing essence’. My perception of the blue spectrum is that it represents the ripeness of all of creation, and the boundless creativity of the mind.
